Tennyson's expression "I am part of all I have met" seems to be an accurate description of
my life.

From childhood art lessons and participation
in little theater productions while growing up
in Mississippi, I was able to pursue an art education in many regions of the country.

Fortunately, my passion for creativity and artistic expression have provided me with fulfilling roles as educator, fine artist, and illustrator of several children's books.

Today, I enjoy working on landscapes and still-life paintings, and I continue to travel to schools and conferences to share my love of illustrating with students and adults.
